My Lived ID at the Centre for Developmental Disability Health, Monash Health has developed a new learning module, About Me, With Me that will assist clinicians in implementing the New National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. These standards aim to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities receive equitable and quality healthcare. Individuals with intellectual disabilities often face significant challenges in accessing safe and effective care.

The module is designed for all health clinicians to address these challenges and improve care quality. The module is also relevant to disability support workers who provide support and health care access for people with an intellectual disability.

We are sharing this information because one of our team did the module and thought the information and resources were useful to people working with people with intellectual disability, in both the health and disability sectors.
