Royal Commission Plain English summary available now

In late 2019 the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability held hearings in Melbourne. At these hearings Disability Services Commissioner Arthur Rogers provided a written statement and was questioned by the Commission.

The Commission has released a schedule of events for 2020. The next hearings will begin in Sydney next week, Tuesday 18 February. The area of focus is on the provision of health care to people with disability, specifically health care and services for people with cognitive disability, including people with intellectual disability, autism and acquired brain injuries.
